To promote the application of science and technology, innovation, and digital transformation in production and business activities, Can Tho City organized the event entitled “Technology Supply and Demand Connection – Key Products and OCOP Products Associated with Traceability in Can Tho City 2026.” This meaningful event serves as a platform connecting scientists, research institutes, universities, enterprises, cooperatives, and OCOP stakeholders, while also encouraging the application of traceability technologies in product quality management, promotion, and commercialization.
Traceability is the process of tracking and identifying the entire journey of a product, from production, harvesting, processing, packaging, and transportation to its delivery to consumers. Through QR codes, barcodes, electronic labels, and digital platforms, consumers can easily access product-related information using a smartphone. Within the framework of the event “Technology Supply and Demand Connection – Key Products and OCOP Products Associated with Traceability in Can Tho City 2026,” numerous traceability models, solutions, and advanced technologies were introduced to enterprises, cooperatives, and OCOP stakeholders. Activities such as seminars, business networking sessions, product exhibitions, and technology consultations helped raise awareness of the role of traceability in sustainable product development while creating opportunities for collaboration between technology providers and production and business establishments.
In the coming years, further promoting the application of science and technology and digital transformation in traceability will remain one of the key solutions for enhancing the quality, added value, and competitiveness of Can Tho City’s key products and OCOP products.
