In order to support businesses in improving quality management capabilities and meeting the demands of both domestic and international markets, on the morning of May 27, 2025, the Center for Application of Science and Technology Advances organized a training workshop on the implementation of product traceability for local enterprises, cooperatives, and production facilities.

The workshop attracted the participation of more than 20 representatives from enterprises operating in agriculture, food processing, aquaculture, and manufacturing industries, with direct sharing and guidance provided by experienced experts.

The training focused on key topics such as:

• Overview of traceability: Concepts, roles, and significance in ensuring quality, food safety, and enhancing product credibility.
• Guidelines for establishing a traceability system: Step-by-step implementation from system operation, production logging, harvesting, processing, to distribution.
• Application of digital technology in traceability: Introduction to software and digital platforms that support businesses in digitizing management processes and ensuring product information transparency.
• Practical sessions and Q&A: Businesses were guided on how to create and manage QR codes, connect product data, and handle real-life scenarios.

Speaking at the event, a representative of the organizing committee emphasized:

"Traceability is not only a tool for quality control but also a mandatory requirement for Vietnamese products to enter demanding markets such as the EU, the US, and Japan. The proactive implementation of traceability systems by businesses will contribute to enhancing competitiveness, building reputable brands, and fostering sustainable development."

At the conclusion of the workshop, many business representatives highly appreciated the practical relevance and applicability of the program. Several participants expressed their desire to continue collaborating with regulatory agencies and experts to effectively implement traceability systems in the near future.
