As part of efforts to promote trade, showcase distinctive local products, and strengthen the application of digital technologies in production and business activities, the mobilization of enterprises, cooperatives, and product producers to participate in the International Trade, Tourism and Investment Fair of the East–West Economic Corridor – Da Nang 2026 (EWEC – Da Nang 2026) has achieved positive results.
Through communication and mobilization activities, cooperatives and businesses actively responded by providing products for exhibition and promotion at the fair. This is a practical initiative to bring distinctive local and OCOP products closer to consumers while creating opportunities for producers to promote their brands, seek business partners, and expand their markets.
According to the program, EWEC – Da Nang 2026 will take place from August 12 to 17, 2026, at the Da Nang Exhibition and Fair Center. The fair covers an area of more than 10,000 square meters, with more than 200 businesses and over 300 exhibition booths, and is expected to attract more than 50,000 visitors. The event features OCOP products as well as a wide range of distinctive agricultural products, food, and beverages.

One of the key aspects emphasized during the mobilization process was combining product promotion with traceability.
As consumers increasingly pay attention to product origin, quality, and production processes, bringing traceability information closer to consumers helps enhance transparency and provide an additional basis for consumer confidence.
Within the exhibition space, traceability QR codes can serve as a bridge between products and visitors. By scanning the QR code with a smartphone, consumers can access information provided by producers about the product, enabling them to better understand its origin and production journey.
This is also an approach to product promotion that aligns with the digital transformation trend, helping producers gradually shift from traditional product introductions toward promoting products through data and digital technologies.

Mobilizing products for exhibition at the fair is not only intended to introduce products to visitors but also aims to facilitate business connections and expand markets.
EWEC – Da Nang 2026 features B2B business-matching activities with international buyers, booth visits and surveys, and various trade promotion activities. These provide favorable conditions for producers to introduce their products to a wider range of customers and potential partners.
Through exhibition activities, products have opportunities to gain broader recognition. At the same time, producers can receive consumer feedback, better understand market demand, and gradually improve their products, packaging, promotional methods, and approaches to reaching customers.

For products that already have traceability systems in place, the fair also provides an opportunity to directly demonstrate the practical benefits of traceability to consumers, thereby raising awareness of the importance of choosing products with transparent information.
Each product brought to the fair represents more than just a commodity; it also carries the image, brand, and distinctive values of its locality. Combining OCOP products – exhibition – brand promotion – traceability contributes to presenting local products in a more professional, transparent, and modern manner.
