Expanding Opportunities for Trade, Investment, and Tourism Connections

The EWEC – Da Nang 2026 Trade Fair takes place from August 12 to 17, 2026, at the Da Nang Exhibition and Fair Center, No. 09 Cach Mang Thang Tam Street, Cam Le Ward, Da Nang City. The event is organized by the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (Vietrade) under the Ministry of Industry and Trade in coordination with the Da Nang Department of Industry and Trade, as part of the National Trade Promotion Program for 2026.

This marks the 15th edition of the EWEC – Da Nang Trade Fair, continuing its role as an important platform for promoting trade, investment, and tourism connections between Da Nang and localities and businesses across Vietnam, as well as international partners.

According to the Organizing Committee, the fair features nearly 250 booths from 108 organizations and businesses, along with a food area and participation from numerous domestic and international localities and enterprises. Exhibited products range from OCOP products, agricultural products, food, and regional specialties to machinery, equipment, technology products, and tourism- and logistics-related services.

Beyond product exhibitions, the fair provides businesses with opportunities to promote their brands, seek partners, expand markets, connect supply and demand, and gradually participate more deeply in regional supply chains. As the eastern gateway of the East–West Economic Corridor (EWEC) toward the East Sea, Da Nang plays an important role in connecting Vietnam with countries along the corridor, including Laos, Thailand, and Myanmar. Therefore, EWEC – Da Nang 2026 serves not only as a trade promotion event but also contributes to strengthening economic, trade, investment, and tourism linkages across the region.

Can Tho Brings the Flavors of the Mekong Delta to EWEC

At EWEC – Da Nang 2026, the exhibition booth of the Can Tho Department of Science and Technology introduces visitors, tourists, and businesses to a wide range of OCOP products, local specialties, traceable products, and representative science and technology products.

Featured products at the booth include distinctive products from the Mekong Delta such as Thac Lac Fish Crackers, Diem Phuong Soursop Tea, Hygie Instant Tea products, Hygie Original Flavor Gummies, and Ong Cua ST25 Rice, along with many other local specialties.

Each product not only carries commercial value but also helps tell the story of the land, its people, and the development of distinctive products from the Mekong Delta. From local raw materials, producers are gradually investing in processing, improving product quality, developing brands, and bringing their products closer to consumers in a wider range of markets.

From the opening days of the fair, the booth of the Can Tho Department of Science and Technology has attracted considerable attention from visitors.

Many visitors have shown interest not only in learning about the products but also in experiencing and purchasing OCOP products, processed foods, and Mekong Delta specialties. Products featuring distinctive flavors, diverse designs, and strong connections to local stories provide visitors with opportunities to experience, select, and purchase products directly.

For product producers, the fair also offers an opportunity to engage directly with consumers and gather feedback on product quality, design, packaging, and market demand. These direct interactions can provide valuable insights for businesses, cooperatives, and production establishments to further improve their products, strengthen competitiveness, and expand their markets.
